12 - 2 large eggs or 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed mixed with 5 tablespoons water
13 - ¼ cup melted coconut oil, plus extra for greasing
14 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
15 - Zest of 1 small orange

16 - Greek yogurt or coconut yogurt

18 - Sliced banana
19 - Honey or maple syrup

# Directions:
01 - Preheat waffle iron according to manufacturer instructions and lightly grease cooking surfaces with coconut oil.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, coconut sugar, baking powder, baking soda, sea salt, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, black pepper, and cardamom until evenly distributed.
03 - In a separate bowl, whisk together almond milk, eggs, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and orange zest until fully combined.
04 - Pour wet mixture into dry ingredients and stir until just combined; do not overmix. Batter should be thick but pourable. Add additional milk if needed to achieve proper consistency.
05 - Ladle ½ to ¾ cup batter into preheated waffle iron depending on iron capacity. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Remove and keep warm. Repeat with remaining batter.
06 - Transfer waffles to serving plates while hot. Top with yogurt, fresh fruit, honey or maple syrup, and chopped nuts or seeds as desired.
